RHINO is a multi-faceted, non-profit, education-based artist cooperative which provides its members an outlet to exhibit and sell their work. RHINO also provides the public with a place to view, understand, and buy fine craft and meet fine craft artists on duty. This mutually beneficial interaction provides artists with direct feedback from the public and provides the public with direct access to the artists.
Located on the second floor of an upscale mall (The Shops at Canal Place) RHINO gallery is a great find for tourists visiting New Orleans in search of genuinely locally made fine craft. Office workers in the area can stop by RHINO on their way to or from lunch. Evening visitors pop into RHINO on their way to the movies at Canal Place Cinema or live stage theater at the Southern Repertory Theater.
