“Paper Chain Dolls” will be the theme of this month’s Second Saturday Children’s Workshop at RHINO Contemporary Crafts Gallery.
Working with paper and mixed media, Rhino clay artist, Chris Menconi, will lead the workshop, assisted by Nell Simpson,clay artist and Tamra Carboni, metalsmith.

“Valentines and Mardi Gras” will be the theme of this month’s Second Saturday Children’s Workshop at RHINO Gallery in Canal Place. New Rhino artist,silk painter Kathleen Grumlich, and metalsmith Cathy Cooper will be on hand to help children make Mardi Gras masks and mixed-media valentines. Then, from 2 to 5 pm, RHINO will present a Meet the Artist event with members Vitrice McMurry, jeweler/enamelist, and Cathy Cooper,jeweler and metal sculptor. Participants will learn how to make Rings and Earrings. No prior experience is necessary. All materials and Parking @ Canal Place Garage is included.
