I have been working in clay for about 9 years. I first started with functional ware, which I still make, but soon moved on to making “yard art.” Each of these pieces is made by hand, usually thrown on the wheel, then altered. Some are hand built. They are designed to be placed in the garden on 3/4″ steel poles. All are fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln, and will withstand the elements. No two pieces are alike.
