“Memory Boxes” will be the theme of the upcoming
children’s art workshop at RHINO Gallery. This is the seventh in a new series of monthly workshops for children. Three Rhino artists (Nellrea Simpson, Tamra Carboni and Zulay Nakamura) will be on hand to help children make mixed-media boxes with personal themes; participants are encouraged to bring found objects and photographs. (This event anticipates the upcoming “Art in a Box” show that opens October l at Rhino). Saturday, September 12, 11 am-2 pm in front of the gallery. Refreshments.
